AI venture building
We build AI ventures.
New AI-native businesses for corporates and investors. And the same method inside large organisations: we rebuild internal processes as products, with AI at the core, until they run in daily operations.
What we do
Two kinds of ventures. One way of building them.
-
New AI ventures
From thesis to a business that runs. We find the opportunity, test it with real customers, build the product and the team, and launch. For corporates building outside the core, and for investors who want a company, not a concept. Corporate venturing · venture units · AI-native products
-
AI inside the corporation
We treat an internal process like a venture. Pick one workflow with a measurable cost, rebuild it with AI agents and models, and run it with the people who own it until it holds up. Then the next one. Finance · operations · customer service · forecasting · reporting
-
Interim leadership
When a new unit or a young company needs someone to carry it, our partners step in as interim CEO, COO or CTO, through the first growth phase or a funding round. Interim CXO · fundraising · investor readiness
How we work
Find the bet. Prove it. Ship it.
Most ideas should die early and cheaply. The few that survive get built properly.
-
1
Find
1–2 weeksWe sit with leadership and the people doing the work. We trace where time and money are lost or left on the table, and pick the one bet with the clearest effect on the P&L. If AI is not the answer, you hear it here.
-
2
Prove
4–8 weeksA working prototype on your real data, tested with real users or customers. The evidence decides: kill it, change it, or scale it. No pilot that lives forever.
-
3
Ship & hand over
until it runs without usWe ship into production, set up the team, the governance and the numbers to steer by. Your people learn the method along the way, so they can run the next one.
Selected work
Built, not just recommended.
| Client | What we built | Outcome |
|---|---|---|
| European transmission grid operator | An AI assistant for procurement. Instead of automating the buyers, it prepares first-time requesters with the right questions, so their first request is complete, and points them to existing framework suppliers before anyone hires a new one. Buyers add answers where the assistant gets stuck. | Live on the company intranet |
| European transportation group | Portfolio management of 130+ innovation projects, with a get-shit-done assessment and execution training for every project lead | Leaner innovation pipeline, faster AI adoption |
| Energy company | AI strategy and governance, plus a company-wide GenAI bootcamp | 1,000+ employees trained, company-wide alignment on AI |
| Utilities company | A corporate venture unit, set up from scratch | 3 ventures launched in the first year |
| Corporate client | Fast prediction models on tabular foundation models, across several business units | +30% forecasting accuracy |
| US cleantech start-up | Strategy, technology review and fundraising | $5M seed round closed |
Working with us
Straight talk. Working systems.
We have founded, scaled and sold companies ourselves. That shapes how we work with you.
We say when AI is the wrong tool
If the real problem is a missing owner, a bad form or an unclear process, you hear it from us in the first week. Before you pay for a model.
Working things, not decks
Every phase ends with something that runs: a prototype on your data, a pilot with real users, a system in production. Slides only where someone has to decide.
Your team takes over
We build in your environment, document as we go and train the people who will own it. When we leave, nothing stops. No lock-in.
Few clients, full attention
We take on a handful of engagements at a time. No pyramid of juniors: the partners you meet are the people doing the work.
Team
The people who build.
